Another infrared heating benefit is the fact that Carbontec® is the only infrared heating system that is capable of deterring condensation in your home which results in a less favorable environment for mold spores or dust mites to grow. The unique perforation feature of Carbontec® enables permeability i.e. transferring humidity from the surfaces. Carbontec® is Easy to Mount and Install
Carbontec® perforated film has a unique patented surface and woolly coating of NapTouch that allows to save up to 32% on construction mixes and characterizes material as resistant to alkaline influence of tiles adhesive or plaster. High adhesion (bond to surfaces) enables the system to be installed under any decorative coating. Installation of Carbontec® requires the minimum of effort; however your system should be installed by a trained certified electrician or contractor to achieve the maximum infrared heating benefits.
The installation is a simple procedure requiring minimum effort. The longest step during the installation process is waiting for the adhesion plaster or ceiling plaster to dry, which accelerated by operating your new heating system for 10 hours to ensure proper adhesion and operation. Carbontec® system consists of only a few components, making it a very simple addition to your home or business. There is no need to install a boiler, radiators, ducting or any additional pipe work in order to operate it.

Besides being 98% energy efficient, Carbontec® films can deliver heat with over 95% radiant efficiency. In comparison to Carbontec®, the radiant efficiency of conventional heating is normally below 30%. This means that conventional heating is less effective in providing you with heat energy because more than 70% of the heat energy goes to heat the air volume which dissipates rapidly. Heating with 98% radiant efficiency, means that your money is not wasted on hot air masses concentrated around your ceiling, heating you do not need.
Consequently, the superior radiant efficiency of Carbontec® results in about 3 times less energy needed relative to the energy required by conventional heating. That means that with Carbontec® you not only get superior quality of heating but also reduce energy consumption.
